…it wasn’t until i began working 9 to 5 myself, when i realized how tiring a full-time job can be. my mom had made it all look so easy, a working woman-household cleaning-family cook-personal chauffeur extraordinaire. yet she always did it with a smile, and enough energy left over to listen to my worries and complaints. sorry i don’t call home often enough, even when i’m not busyyet you’re always there for me when i do, even though you are busy, too. i’m only starting to appreciate why all my friends love you, including those who have only met your briefly. happy mother’s day, mom.this two-day trip back home was worth it, if only for your surprised reaction <3
